It was nice talking with you by phone earlier this evening! I just tried you at your house number you gave me, but got the answering machine. I understand it's late so we can talk tomorrow, but I did want to get you this information as soon as possible.
As we discussed, we had some out-of-town travel surface that needs to happen around the time of this event. It is now looking like we will be out of town that week of Dec 11. As I know your folks will be booking flights very soon, we are hoping that we could move the date of this event. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this causes but I'm hopeful that we can still make this a great event with strong involvement.
In offering other dates that would work for us, we could do Dec 4 mid-afternoon, Dec 5, Dec 6, or Dec 7 afternoon. Would any of those dates work for you?
Please let me know. We really appreciate you working with us on this and can't wait to address the group. Thank you for understanding!
