This company manufactures a vide variety of asbestos shingles. The claimant's employment record with this company is as follows: 9/15/36 - 8/l/i;5 ' 8/1A5 - 3/16A6 3/18/1,6 - 5/9A6 5/9A6 - 8/28/50 8/28/50 - 9/10/50 9/10/50 - 6/12/57 6/12/57 - 10/28/57 10/28/57 - 2/10/56 2/10/58 - Present Asbestos Mill Watchman Felt Kill Paper Mill--Laborer In Fiber Storage Area Beaterman Helper Lead Beaterman In Asbestos Hill Off Due To Illness Janitor In Power Plant Ceramo Shingle Straightener As a beaterman's helper, the claimant dumped burlap bags of asbestos fibers on a conveyor. This was done in the storage area. As a lead beaterman, the claimant was in charge of the beater area. As a Ceramo shingle straightener, the claimant would see that asbestos shingles, when they entered the oven, were straight. Dust counts taken in the area whore the claimant worked between September 15, 1936 and June 12, 1957 have varied beti\Teen 2.6 and 6.8 million particles per cubic foot of air, A dust count, taken on this visit in the breathing zone of a beaterman indicated the air contained 0.8 million particles per cubic foot of air. This dust would be composed mostly of asbestos.
