This operation was found to produce excessive exposures during the periodic asbestos survey conducted in December, 1975, and the purpose of the present study was to determine that the engineering corrections which had been made at this operation had been successful in reducing the exposures. As indicated on the attached data sheet, the asbestos dust exposure at this operation is quite low following installation of a new vertical belt sander with improved ventilation, and well within the allowable limits. No further action is required at this operation at this time, other than assuring that the sander and ventilation are maintained in good condition. hm Attachment cc: F. M. Borawski F. A. Burnett J.
