On behalf of the Board of Directors of the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA), I am writing to request a meeting with you to discuss the industry's current regulatory reform priorities with a group of our member company CEOs and senior executives from across the country. AF&PA represents U.S, manufacturers of pulp, paper, packaging, tissue and wood products with fact-based public policy and marketplace advocacy. More than 75 percent of forest products industry facilities are located in predominantly rural counties across America and are often the economic driver for their communities, large and small. The approximately 900,000 family wage jobs represent a $50 billion annual payroll, making our industry among the top 10 manufacturing sector employers in 45 states, AF&PA member companies make products essential for everyday life from renewable and recyclable resources and are committed to continuous improvement through the industry's sustainability initiative - Better Practices, Better Planet 2020,
