I Please accept the attached letter on behalf of Illinois Power Generating Company requesting a Presidential exemption under Section 1 12(i)(4) of the Clean Air Act ("CAA") from compliance with the filterable particulate matter ("fPM") surrogate emission standard for non-mercury metal hazardous air pollutants ("HAP") and the requirement to install continuous emissions monitoring systems ("CEMS" or "PM GEMS") under the MATS FUR for Newton Power Station Unit 1 ("Newton").
