BONIN SUBJECT: VINYL CHLORIDE HEALTH EFFECTS AT DEER PARK There are two workers comp cases involving health effects allegedly due ( to vinyl chloride at DPMC. Dr Miller or Kern cannot recall the names ofthese people, hut the incidents occurxed while Dr. Millex was at Deer Park. One case .involved elevated liver function tests and diagnosis of fatty liver. The other case was based upon elevated liver function tests and a "swiss cheese" liver on scan. These case will have to be identified through workers comp records at Deer Park. Other than the two cases above, Drs. Miller and Kern or Joyner cannot recall other Instances of employees coming to the medical department with complaints or symptoms relative to vinyl chloride exposure. ,R. E.
