Dr. Robert P. Sim, Standard Oil Company of New Jersey, 15 Vest 31st Street, New York City 1.9.
.
Dear D r Sim:
Pursuant to your note of December 9 concerning the case of Mr.
I have written to Dr. Morrissey for further .1 do what we can to establish the facts in this case. I should judge that what Dr- Morrissey is talking about is an acute contact dermatitis rather than acute lead poisoning, but we shall see. I shall report further developments in due course.
Very truly yours,
Robert A. K e h o e , M. D.

P. S. The analytical results on the urine of this man, which pre sumably provide the basis for the diagnosis, are manifestly Incorrect. Such a concentration of lead does not occur in the urine, and there fore one can be sure that the samples were collected badly or that the analysis was done badly or both.
