Selikoff, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, City University of New York, regarding their investigation of possible health hazards associated with respirable particles of asbestos and other substances to which workers in brake maintenance shops stay be exposed. He indicated that their examination of brake shop workers is turning up some dis turbing findings relative to health effects (he didn't elaborate) and that some physicians out West had found brake shop workers well repre sented among lung cancer cases. Prof. Selikoff would like to discuss these medical findings with appropriate representatives from the automobile companies and Johns-Manville Corp. at a private meeting in New York in the near future.
