Dear Sirj- The writer called at Mr. f l p m P p ^ome* Can safely say that he never suggested or even discussed the possibility of lead poisoning, fill give below a short resume of our discussion. Had very severe headaches and numbness in legs arid found it necessary to lay off sick in the early part of January. His brother, Dr. IT. D. Braddock Ave., Braddock, Pa. first treated him for sinus trouble. He is a Naturopath and does not believe in medicine other than than that made from roots and herbs. He placed patient on a diet of juice of eight oranges daily which he adhered to for thirty-five days. Claims this would clear if sinus condition. Also gave one elec trical treatment weekly. He then X-rayed patient during middle of period and at end of period and there was no sign of sinus trouble. Mr. continued with the same trouble and was admitted to Windber ho spi t c^wnere Dr. Geo. Wheeling took X- r a y ^ o f e n tire spinal system, head, chest and lungs. He did not tell Mr. 4 J ^ H ^ ^ ^ w h a t he diagnosed the trouble. About March S on return trip t ^ w m a b e r hospital, Dr. Wheeling called Dr. Meyers from Johnstown, Pa. to examine and for consultation. Dr. Meyers after examination asked Mr. about his employment and when told he worked for Gasoline Co. v o ^ e ^ t h e opinion that it was lead poisoning. not improving returned to Dr. Wheeling about April 1 who agai'^calJ^d Dr. Meyers in for consultation and who Mr. claims brought quite a few books with him and which the two Loned doctors and several internes studied and all came to the decision that it was lead poisoning. It was shortly after this trip that Dr. Wheel ing furnished letter which we mailed to your office on April 19* Dr. Wheel ing claims that this letter very clearly states that it is lead poisoning and that if you care to know more facts will be glad to answer any question submitted. Mr. claims that his trouble started about May, 1932 having pains in both legs. This was followed with headaches- Mr* Barefoot had letter from the Windber Hospital to clinic in Pittsburgh which he is to enter on Friday and the "writer took the liberty of copying and attachcopy in duplicate* Yours very truly, J.
