ORAL LD50 TEST IN RATS
Procedure.' The test aaterlal, |a oapension In corn oil, was adainistered by intragaatric intubation in single doaes to 6 groups of oale and 6 groups "^ feoale young adult Crl:CD raf, 10 per group. ChroRodacryorrhea at 1,000 and 500 ag/kg.
Stained face at 1,000, 670, 500 and 450 ag/kg.
Moribuadicy, eyes half-closed and gasping at 670 ag/kg.
Huaped posture at 500 ag/kg. All deaths occurred within 4 days after dosing.
Feaales; Stained and wet perineal area and weight loss at all levels tested. Stained face at all levels tested except 200 ag/kg.
Weakness at 1,000, 670, 450, asd 400 ag/kg. Chroaodacryorrhea, eyes half^eloflfed and ataxia at 670 ag/kg. Hoped posture at 670 and 450 ag/kg. Alopecia at 400 ag/kg.
All deaths occurred within 3 days after dosing.
