NOTE - Hie Glid-Guard Alkyd Enamel (Speedenamel) and the Speedenamel QD colors exceeding 1$ lead are not being considered for reformulation.' We could not achieve the seme colors nor could ve approach the same level of hiding with non-lead- substitutes. Our plan is to imprint "For Industrial Use Only" across the label face and revise the lead warning statement to comply with the current FDA/NPVIA wording.
Work is in progress toward the z.ero percent lead objective by January 1973* Since ve are bacicily dealing with lead drier substitutes, storage stability - loss of dry on storage, compatibility are prime factors and will require time to confirm. There is nothing, as yet, to indicate tliat ve will not be able to meet this objective.
