Perdure Petroleum, LLC / NBU 8-11 Inspection Date: 02/12/2020
PURPOSE OF THE INSPECTION EPA Region 6 inspector K.W. Sanborn visited the Perdure Petroleum, LLC oil and gas facility located near Shidler, Oklahoma on 02/12/2020 for an unannounced inspection. There were no representatives of Perdure Petroleum, LLC present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
FACILITY DESCRIPTION A previous spill site was near the facility NBU 8-11. The spill site had a previous enforcement action open under docket number: CWA-06-2014-1775 and EPA ID No. OKU000803. EPA conducted up this follow up inspection to assess the current site conditions.
Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed no evidence of produced water surface damage at the site. The vegetation, including grass was present surrounding the facility. I observed that the nearby creek was flowing. With a calibrated, I took a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) measurement of the nearby creek and it was 740 milligrams per liter (mg/L).
