It has been brought to my attention that the letter may be unintentionally misleading and possibly misconstrued because it did not expressly address the continuing role of American Petroleum Institute (API) as the administrator and contracting entity for the Study. On behalf of the BHRC, and myself I apologize for any confusion my letter may have caused others. We remain anxious to continue work on the Study and look forward to making progress in this area. In that regard, I understand API will be in contact with the appropriate parties.
