Hi Sydney - Can you also tell me if we can bring a professional photographer to take a few photographs prior to the meeting with Administrator Pruitt? I know in the past meetings with the EPA Administrator, sometimes your office had a photographer on hand.
My goal is to have a photograph of the Administrator speaking with NAHB's senior leadership for our Association's various communication platforms.
Thanks again for your help scheduling this meeting.
-Mike

Hi Sydney
Sorry for the delay. We are still working on the paperwork for mid-year and I hope to get that to you shortly. As for the meeting on Wednesday, topics for discussion include overall regulatory reform, stormwater, lead-based paint, and WOTUS. We do not expect to get into great detail on
17cv1906 Sierra Club v. EPA
ED_001523B_00004847-00001
any of these, just to touch on their importance to the industry, the challenges they pose, and some potential solutions.
I am assuming the meeting on Wednesday is at the EPA offices on Constitution Ave? Pls clarify and notify us of which entrance to use and who to call when we arrive.
I am cc-ing my colleague, Michael Mittelholzer, who will be your primary contact moving forward, but please respond to all so I am in the loop.
Thanks again!
Susan

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your email! So on the Mid-Year meeting, would you mind filling out the attached form so that we may discuss in scheduling? And as for the senior executives being in town next week, we actually just had a meeting cancelled at 3PM on the 29th. Is it still possible for your senior officers to meet with him then? It would be from 3:00-3:30 and I would request their names and topic of the meeting. Hoping this still works on your end!
Thank you! Sydney

Hi Sydney!
17cv1906 Sierra Club v. EPA
ED_001523B_00004847-00004
Thanks for the call today. The National Association of Home Builders is very interested in having EPA Administrator Pruitt speak before a larger group of our members. In an effort to accommodate his schedule, we are willing to create a special meeting during our Mid-Year Meeting if the Administrator is available. The timing for the meeting would be Thursday, June 15 at a time that is convenient between 12:30 and 2:30 at the Marriott Wardman Park, 2660 Woodley Road, NW, Washington, DC. We would have an audience of approximately 700 members who are interested in hearing about Administrator Pruitt's vision for the agency, how the agency will address some of the high priority issues, and steps that may be taken to improve the regulatory environment for the Nation's home builders. We would also like to reserve some time for questions, if allowed.
Our Senior Officers would also like to meet privately with Administrator Pruitt. They will be in town and available for a quick visit next week, if a meeting on such short notice is possible. They could be available Wednesday, March 29, between 3-5 pm or Thursday, March 30, between 8 am - 12 pm. They could also be available for a meeting on Wednesday, June 14 or before or after the address to the members on June 15, if that schedule works.
Please take another look at the calendar and let me know what might be possible. I look forward to working with you and the Administrator in the future.
Thanks for your assistance!
Susan
