Dr. Robert A. Kehoe Kettering: Laboratory University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Cincinnati, Ohio
Dear Dr. Kehoe: ALLEGED LEAD POISONING AT ROOD RIVER REFINERY
We are happy to infora you that the_____ cose, in which he claimed to have been poisoned by"igad vdiile work ing at his regular duties in the Treating Department c'f our Wood River Refinery, has been settled.
You will be interested to learn that in closing the
books on this case we paid Mr
the sum of $250.00 as a
"nuisance" settlement, but made no admission that he had been in
jured by lead poisoning while at work or that we were liable in any
way for his illness.
Te greatly appreciate and thank yon for your advice and laboratory work, which undoubtedly was the deciding factor in clarifying the issues in the mindsof all concerned, thereby making possible this very satisfactory settlement of the case.
