We thank you again for your time to meet with us this Friday to discuss the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability from the perspective of the medical technologies sector and to build on the 18 July meeting we had with Ahead of our meeting, we would like to share with you 1) our overall views on the revision of REACH (document: 220718_MedTech Europe REACH Revision Views_FINAL) and 2) a onepager on the legacy approach that we are proposing for the upcoming revision of the EU chemicals legislation (220927_MTE One Pager_Legacy Approach_FINAL). The overarching goal of this proposed approach is to help the Commission, health institutions, healthcare professionals, patients and industry embrace the objectives of the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability in the most pragmatic manner possible.
