Kehoe College of Medicine University of Cincinnati Cincinnati, Ohio Dear Dr. Eehoe: Recently we have sold quite a few empty 10-gallon drums to the Ceresan-Semesan Division of the duPont Company for use in transporting tetra ethyl lead from the blender to their operation. Attached hereto is a list of the amounts of tetra ethyl lead used this year to date, and of course, on which we receive royalties. To the best of our knowledge, this material is being used for the manufacture of their fungicide and for a newer pro duct, more of an insecticide which we believe they call Lignasan. Inasmuch as they are ordering these new drums it suggests the possibility of the use of greater quantities of tetra ethyl lead. vfe are calling this to your attention in case there may be a question of proper handling from the viewpoint of health,safety, hospital examinations, etc., and in case you might wish to go into this matter at the time of your next visit East.
