Thank you for your letter in January and the kind reminder recently. I sincerely apologize for the delay in our response; it often takes some time to gather the necessary information.
At the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the EU, we are currently in the process of developing a registry for such meetings, but it is not yet established.
While questions regarding PFAS are receiving increased attention from policymakers and stakeholders, the majority of us at the Permanent Representation primarily focus on our main responsibilities, such as working party meetings in the Council. Consequently, our opportunities to engage with stakeholders are limited.
In my capacity covering circular economy matters, I've had only two meetings: On April 11, 2023, I held an online meeting with the company Gore. Please find attached the presentation slides and additional articles. No additional information was prepared for the meeting. On August 29, 2023, I conducted an online meeting with the company Chemours. Attached is their position paper. Again, no additional information was prepared for the meeting.
Additionally, I recently received a letter from a civil society organization advocating for the ban of PFAS. Please see the attached document.
Kind regards,
