Dear Sirs:-
I am interested in an industrial case in which an individual is claiming compensation for lead poisoning of the gums, which resulted, he states, from siphoning gasoline with his mouth from a feed line of a tractor. He states that this occurred upon two or three occasions during one afternoon, and that pain, tenderness and swelling developed in the gums within twenty-four hours thereafter. He alleges that this condition caused subsequent loss of several teeth.
I would greatly appreciate any data which your medical department might be able to furnish relative to susceptibility of individuals to lead poisoning from handling Ethyl gasoline.
