This salvage operation will start June 18, 1979.. The pipe is insulated with friable asbestos insulation, so insulation will be removed as the first step, and landfilled in the designated asbestos landfill located on the Plant site. All the precautions outlined in 40 CF46 will be observed. This letter will serve as a notification of this work, as required by 40 CFR 61.22 (d) (2).
