Malathion waste treatment studies are progressing satisfactorily. Twenty-four atmospheric samples were analyzed for S02. Final report on Choccolocco creek aquatic life was received from biological consultants. Quality Control The RFT Index was 98.7, with 10 lots rejected out of 758; 9 out of 655 from the Organic Division. The June Quality Score was 98.6 , up 0.4 from May, YTD 97.1 vs. 93.0 target. A study was begun correlating Solid Aroclor performance with operating variables in the Aroclor process and upstream, E.D.C. July 12. All candidates lacked either experience or leadership qualities required for these jobs. Recruitment of experienced technical personnel has been a complete failure so far. Also, have an upcoming need for minimum of 2 manufacturing representatives for CED projects. Four of our six summer employees are excellent future technical employees (the two are unavailable for Monsanto employment).
