Upon motion, the following applications for appropri ations were duly approved. $ 14,564.00: 5,074.00: 3,365.00: 2,906.94: Doehler-Jarvis Division; Installation of Vacuum System on Four Aluminum Machines, Toledo #1 Plant, Ohio. General Office; Membership Subscription to Lead Industries Association, including Health and Safety, from April 1 to June 30, 1958. Pioneer Aluminum, Inc.; Purchase of 1958 Oldsmobile Sedan, Los Angeles, California. Titanium Division; Investigation by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution on the Effects of Waste Disposal, Woods Hole, Massachusetts. I The Committee authorized the execution of that certain agreement with The Babcock & Wilcox Company granting to this Company for the sum of $2,000.00 know-how regarding the construction and operation of vertical shaft kilns for the direct heating of a fluent mass of solid material, and licensing this Company under patent rights covering vertical shaft kiln apparatus in consideration of the payment of a royalty of 50c per ton of material produced. Upon motion, the meeting then adjourned.
