Olson Attached are the results of the agenda survey I conducted for^ the forthcoming 1983 October meeting. I received responses from 13 companies with 19 individual preferences. Volunteers have offered to present 17 topics. However, some contacts need to be made within an organization. In addition, we have four current histories to be presented. I have also made arrangements with Captain W. T. "Billy" Poe of the Louisiana State Police to present the September 28, 1982, Livingston, Louisiana derailment. I plan to have his presentation at Thursday's lunch. The survey indicated ten other topics with interest from over half of the respondees. I have indicated these with "NEED SPEAKER". Please review the ten topics and try to locate a volunteer to present a topic. Please look within your company and also consider other VCSA members. A prompt response would be appreciated to allow time to conduct a survey. I do feel that the agenda is coming along quite well and will make for another successful meeting.
