Indelicato Attached is a memo from A1 Hackney on a Request to Quote disc brake set S7071 to ^ei'co ^hrrcrnfe-^-^ The quantity involved is 32,000 sets-1 per year. As I understand, we are unable to use tooling we have on hand for S7055, same as S7071, due to problems of filling up the holes in the steel back during the bonding operation. In January 1978 we advised our competitors solved this problem by placing a small piece of metal over these holes. There was a request to convert our tooling from bonding to IM to reduce cost. We continue to purchase S7055 and will have to buy $7071 for our replacement requirements. Now we have a request to quote on S7071 in volume.
