The following action is being taken to correct the unsatisfactory conditions noted in the report dated February 13, 1969.
1. Code Standard - Ref. 50*204.264
All supervisory employees were enrolled la a first eld course given by the Aaarlcaa Bed Cross with the first sessloa given 4-10-69. lb# course is to consist of three sessions and by 5-26-69 there will be fully qualified personnel on all shifts.
2. Code Standard - Kef. 30-204.275
Pittsburgh Corning Corporation uses the services of Lee a. Grant, M.D., Medical Director, PPG Industries, and his staff, to aamltor its production facilities for eoa^liance with A.C.C.l.B. threshold limits for dust concentrations. (See attachments II and HI). In addition, the Industrial Hygiene Foundation conducts periodic dust measurements to ascertain the dust concentrations present. (See attachment I).
