It has to do with an analysis of our Dust Control and Removal System* I believe that much can be done to improve the Air Hygiene in our plant pro viding the conditions are studied by an engineer who is well versed in the proper design of Ducts especially the inlets and the arrangement of the ducts in relation to the specific piece of equipment where the dust is generated* I realize that the engineer should also have had experience in taking dust counts otherwise he would be unable to determine the improvements through a redesign of the dust system. Vfhen I called this morning, it was my thought that you could give us the name of sane engineering company that could undertake this work for us. From what Miss Colona said I get the impression that this is well within the scope of your activities and that through your investigations you would make the recomoendations to our Engineering Department and under your guid ance we would have the .ducts' made and installed. I hope this is a correct impression as we welcome c,;:c opportunity of working with you but if I mis understood Miss Colona possibly you will set me right. Tou recall that when you were here a few years ago we considered that anything under 5,000,000 particles per cubic foot was satisfactory but I learned two years ago, when I was in England, that they set the limit at 1,000,000 par ticles per cubic foot and this standard I believe has also been adopted by the State of New Jersey.
