The only products involved are: all of the Joint Cement, powder or Ready Mix; Block Filler, Draraex Powder, Water Putty, Multi Patch and Patch n' Repair Kit. Ho asbestos containing products have been shipped from either of our factories since August 1, 1977. For everything except Resurfo powder and paste and Patch n' Repair Kits any old material would have a statement on the package "warning! caution-contains asbestos fibers", or something very similar to that. If it doesn't have that warning it doesn't have asbestos. The exception is Resurfo that was never formulated with asbestos but did have tremolitic talc that the government also banned. Again, noqe of that was shipped after August 1, 1977. Here is what to look for on Resurfo to be sure. All reformulated Resurfo Paste shows a single digit 0-9 following the' Bondex item number on the master shipping carton. Example: 51080-0 of 51084-7. Reformulated Resurfo Powder shows either the 0-9 designation after our item number or has the following code printed on the bottom end flap of the master shipping carton: 1if size 7035H, 7036E and 5# 7252C.
