j... we took a trip to the Mountain State, where several contenders, all sharp critics of EPA greenhouse gas regulations, will face off in a primary vying to be the GOP contender to challenge West Virginia's Democratic senator, Joe Manchin, who is up for re-election in 2018.
Across the pond, the United States was isolated on climate at the G-20 leaders' summit, which concluded over the weekend. The United States was relegated to a footnote in the G-20 climate and energy action plan, and the other 19 nations united to give a strong endorsement of the Paris Agreement's implementation.
And in the courts, environmental and tribal groups have sued the Bureau of Land Management over its administrative stay of several deadlines in its methane venting and flaring rule, joining the attorneys general of California and New Mexico who challenged the action last week.
