Washington, D.C. 20009 Dear Mr. Carnes: This letter is in regard to the Annual Meeting at the Greenbrier. We understand fully the need to control attendance at this meeting and to limit the number of persons attending from each company. You will recall that recently scambia Chemical Corporation, formerly an lndependent member of MCA, became a part of Air Products and Chemicals. At the meeting in 1969 at the Greenbrier, the total number of attendees from Escambia and Air Products was 10 (you very kindly allowed us to add one person after the usual registration procedure was complete). It has been suggested that our quota for the 1970 meeting should be 4. May I request that this be reconsidered and that we be allowed a total of 7 attendees which represents, I believe, a significant cutback from our prior practice, I am hopeful that this number will demonstrate our willingness to cooperate fully in controlling attendance and yet give us the opportunity to continue our full participation in the benefits of this meeting.
