Paugh, 512 Or-iQir-or oy Oei t, April 12, 1985 HS&EA Industrial Hygiene Asbestos Monitoring at Institute Plant Attached are the results of asbestos exposure monitoring conducted on April 9, 1985 while construction employees stripped approximately 150 ft. of old insulation material from process lines and a feed pot at the ENB unit. Three construction employees were used on the job with two insulators to strip the insulation and one laborer to bag and clean up the stripped insulation. All employees wore cartridge respirators, coveralls, gloves, and boots. The area was barricaded, signs placed, and a water spray was used to wet the insulation prior to stripping. All samples were found to contain levels of asbestos fibers below the permissible level of 2.0 fibers per c.c. of air. Please notify all employees of their exposure results.
