4 Let's start after you graduated from high
5 school. Why don't we start with that?
6 A Okay. I went to University of Arizona for
7 my undergraduate work in physics and mathematics.
8 Q Okay. And then after you graduated from
9 there, where did you go?
10 A I went to Carnegie-Mellon University in
11 Pittsburgh to study physics, and I obtained a Master's
12 degree in physics in 19 -- that was a long time ago,
13 1972.
14 Q Okay.
15 A And then I switched to public health at the
16 University of Pittsburgh, and I studied biostatistics,
17 epidemiology and industrial hygiene, occupational
18 health, and I obtained an M.S. degree in 1973, and my
19 Doctor of Science in 1975.

21 biostatistics and occupational epidemiology; is that
