can-Ideal Boilers, ft contains a complete set of "Shipping Details," which list
the sections and parts that make np each type and sise of our various boilers,
and which specify the manner in which each boiler is packed and shipped
from our Plant.
Ton will note that on one side of the pages are listed all the shipping units and the number of such units required for each boiler assemblage. Far example, by locating the boiler number in the right hand column, and then reading down you will find what type and how many sections, and what crates, boxes and bundles are required to assemble that particular boiler.
On the reverse side of the sheets the contents of each crate and box are shown.
It is therefore unnecessary to open any container to ascertain its contents, or to transfer parts from one box to another to make up a boiler for shipment. Experience has demonstrated that opening of containers for any purpose results in confusion, unbalanced stocks, and leads to incorrect or short shipments that are both annoying and costly. We recommend that your warehouse make it a rule to keep regular boiler stocks separate from repair stocks; also that the open ing of boxes or crates carried as regular boiler stocks should not be permitted.
We hope and believe that these "Shipping Details" will be found of great help to your warehouse personnel in stocking, handling and re-shipping our boilers.
