A meeting was held at the Commodore Hotel, June 26 th, with 12 manufacturera of the.above Division represented out of 21 in the industry.
The sain purpose of this meeting was to appoint a legotiatlng
Committee, which consisted of L. R. Hoff, Walter Steffin and
A. K. Burgstresser, jbhis Divisional Begotating Committee to
confer with the Institute negotiating Cornaittee in an endeavor
to have a Voluntary Agreement between members of the Asbestos
Hanufacturing Industry, approved in Washington.

At present there is a Functioning Organization which revolves around Donald Tulloch in Philadelphia, which requires financing, vb u t there is ho method provided since the liquidt ion "of the Code, and i t was agreed^ that the" monthly expenses that accrued with this present Functioning Organization, plus 1000.00 revolving fund, b e apportioned ahcmg^ the industry b y sales volume and an invoice sent to.each naxi^actiiirer.'j^This 1000.00, of course, would appear only on the first month* s budget that is developed and its appor tion to each'me*e r . b i l l e d 'on the first inrlce that was sent, . the following invoices only including the monthly expenses that have accrued.
