"This isn't environmental protection, it is economic and social control. And it needs to end. "Today, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced a comprehensive deregulatory agenda to undo numerous Biden-era rules, from the defacto EV mandate to the Clean Power Plan 2.0. He also announced that the EPA will be reconsidering the 2009 endangerment finding, which is the basis for the agency's greenhouse gas regulations. "To properly reform the EPA, in addition to the incredible work of the Trump administration, it will also require Congress to do its part because many of the problems are caused by flaws in the environmental statutes, such as the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act. "That's why CEI is leading a major effort to reform the EPA. "I commend Zeldin for his leadership and urge Congress to work with CEI and anyone else who wants to make much needed reforms to the EPA.
