Even if Mr. Pruitt becomes unavailable, can we proceed with the call? Last minute travel always throws a wrench into things but it is very often out of our control. We are interested in pursuing this effort and I would be happy to work on a time for a conference call. As it stands right now we are fairly flexible on the morning of June 23rd to do a conference call. I will hold 9AM-10:30AM. Please let me know as soon as you can if that time will work. Thank you! EPA ED_001523B_00004953-00001 Well. The meeting involved the travel of a half-dozen commissioners from across the U.S., so I am not sure how to coordinate a new set of dates and times. If the EPA does want to pursue this effort, perhaps we could begin with a conference call at your convenience. To be perfectly candid, I had commissioners fly to Dallas in April for a face-to-face that didn't happen. And I am now faced with telling them this meeting isn't going to happen either - that has a significant impact on relationships. So, let's think about two things: One, would the EPA like to pursue this effort? And if so, can you provide a couple date/time options for a conference call with constructive PUC commissioners? Thanks for your thoughtful consideration. I will await your response. Paul Walker On Thu, Jun 8, 2017 at 12:57 PM, Hupp, Sydney <hupp.sydney@epa.gov> wrote: Hey Paul, I am really sorry. Ken sent over the below email from you about getting a meeting set up in June. As it stands now, it looks like the morning of the 16th or the 19th we could find some time. Would either of those work? I'll look forward to coordinating with you! Thank you! EPA ED_001523B_00004953-00005 Ken, Great talking to you today. Looks like we are all on the same page. Here's the proposed agenda for the first meeting. We are all available in the second half of June. As far as agenda items for the first call, we identified several points to consider. 1The economic impact of the regulation proposed under the Obama administration and what the changes would be under the new version of the regulations current being proposed by EPA, 2. Discuss ways to increase the involvement of state commissions and state environmental and energy offices in the rule making process and ensure that it happens early in process. 3What does the EPA Administrator wish to accomplish by establishing this group? What would be process for adding new topics as issues arise? 4. What does the framework look like going forward? 5. What are the EPA's current thinking or plans for dealing with Coal Ash?
