CHASSIS AFFECTED ALLENTOWN^ HAYWARDD OAKVILLEEf DISC BRAKE SUPPORT BRACKET (M35AX and MP404X Off-Highway Models) PURPOSE To provide field personnel with a method for reinforcing the brake support bracket. This modification applies to the rear wheel brakes on the M35AX and both front and rear wheel brakes of the MP404X. RECOMMENDATION Install the brake support bracket reinforcements as a product iraprovement when performing normal brake service. INFORMATION It has been found desirable to strengthen the brake support bracket on M35AX rear brakes and both front and rear brakes of the MP404X. This is done by welding a reinforcement plate to each side of the support bracket in the caliper mounting area. Parts Required: Qty. The following illustration shows details for installing the reinforcement plates.
