These formulas represent our present thinking, based on limited lab tests and supplier recommendations, for a lead-free drier system, calcium drier will be used in the pigment dispersion with increased levels of cobalt and zirconium in the normal let-down. The full story on dry stability is not complete but we feel the risk is not too great and most be taken at this time, with follow-up testing of plant retains we will have our drier problems solved before December 1973. By copy of this letter to Dick Haviland we are asking that quart samples of all batches be sent to my attention. There is no cost increase for the new drier system. JES/ab J. E. Southwick GLD007212
