Dr. Robert A Kehoe College of Medicine Eden Avenue Cincinnati 19, Ohio
Dear Dr. Kehoe:
Just being undertaken here is a plan to set up an archives of the late Charles F. Kettering. A part of this plan is to include in the archives oral histories after the fashion of those being collected by the Oral History Research Office at Columbia University, which was initiated some years ago by Dr. Allan Nevins. As you perhaps know, this consists in first making tape recordings and then typed transcriptions of interviews with those who have personal knowledge of the subject in some fields of significance and interest.
The interview about Mr. Kettering which you kindly gave me in 19^8 will be available for the Archives, of course. But because that was so long ago, I should like, if you are agreeable, to visit with you for a little while at some-time convenient for you to get a recording of such other of your recollections and impressions of Mr. Kettering as you may care to contribute.
I am planning to be in Dayton during the week of October 10, and could drive down to Cincinnati to see you some day that week, if that will be agreeable with you. If there is any day of that week that would be best for, you, please let me know and I'll try to be there then. If possible, I should like to see Dr. Martin Fischer also while in Cincinnati, and I am writing to him today.
Regards and good wishes to you.
Very truly yours
