PFOA ECA process that USEPA would be pursuing certain PFOA degradation studies, and in light of USEPA's prior request that interested parties submit available information to assist in USEPA's efforts to investigate the nature and extent of the potential threat to human health and the environment from PFOA, we have enclosed copies of documents we obtained from DuPont relating to existing degradation studies. Some of the documents identified below and enclosed may already have been provided to USEPA. In addition, there are documents referenced in the enclosed materials that we possess but are not, at this time, able to forward to USEPA because they have been marked "confidential" under the terms of a Stipulated Protective Order entered in the litigation through which the documents were obtained. Copies of the documents should be available from DuPont who can submit them to the agency making whatever confidential business information claims it deems appropriate. The following documents are enclosed:
1. 3M Technical Report Summary: Adsorption Of FC 95 And FC 143 On Soil (2/27/78) (EID108759-72);
