Please see status update below: The North Carolina Cape Fear Memorial Bridge Replacement Project was selected for a Bridge Investment Program grant on July 17, 2024. The Department is actively working to review grant agreements for consistency with all executive orders and direction issued by the Trump-Vance Administration as consistent with law. The draft grant agreement for this project is being coordinated between the North Carolina FHWA Division office and NCDOT. On March 5th, North Carolina DOT Secretary Hopkins met with USDOT HQ to discuss project details. Will keep you appraised with additional updates as they are available.
