The agreement expires on November 4, 1980. The Willow Creek Mine is situated about 26 miles south westerly of Alder, Montana within the Greenhorn Mountain Range. The first 22 miles are on well maintained paved and gravel highway with the balance (beyond Hare Park Ranch) being a fair dirt haulage road. Cyprus Mines Corporation entered into a lease/option agree ment on the Willow Creek property with Resource Processors Inc., in May 1979. The mine is situated on four unpatented lode mining claims. The Willow Creek Mine contains substantial amounts of both talc and chlorite, although no ore calculations lave been prepared as of yet. Within the presently inactive open pit on the property, the talc zone exposed is approx imately 800 feet in length with an apparent thickness of 15 to 25 feet. The talc seems to occupy a northeaststriking fault zone, dipping between 40 and 65 to the northwest, although evidence is scanty due to the large amounts of mining debris and land slide material within the old pit. The southwestern end of the ore zone appears to terminate against a high angle fault zone. To the northeast, the manner in which the talc zone terminates is unclear at the present time, although apparently barren marble outcrops along strike outside the northeast rim of the old pit. In late summer 1979, the Willow Creek Mine was flown by an aerial survey company to produce a 1" = 200' topographic map of the area, as well as a 1" = 50' na p of the old pit. Preliminary geologic napping (1" = 200') was completed by the end of September 1979, and nine exploratory drill hole sites were proposed for drilling in the spring of 1980.
