I send a copy of the report, therefore, without waiting for the final set of results. There is, as can readily be seen, an appreciable increase in the concentration of lead in the milk of your cow. Whether it would ever reach the levels referred to by Mr. DeLong is another matter, but I shall look with interest on the next pair of analyses. I believe Mr. DeLong is sending along - or perhaps delegating you to send along - certain specimens of green corn and new alfalfa. This I presume, will complete the required information at this time. Meanwhile, I would hope that the climate, as between yourself and the owners of the smelter, will have improved to the point of some reason ableness in your mutual relationships.
