There were no facility representatives present at the site. The inspection was conducted under the authority of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to assess a previously reported spill from the brine facility. The scope of the inspection is to assess unauthorized discharges and impacts of nearby water resources under the CWA. Facility Description The facility was a tank battery located next to a small tributary. The entire battery had been relocated southwest of the old site by just a few yards. Section II - OBSERVATIONS I had the following observations during the inspection: The tank battery had been moved slightly away from the creek. Any runoff that occurs should now run away from the creek due to this relocation. The dry pit had an installed sump pump. No evidence of recent discharges from the battery.
