A l l but one were analyzed by light microscopy only. Sample G was also analyzed by x-ray diffraction to confirm estimates of the quantity of tremolite present. To summarize the results: no ehrysotlle asbestos was detected In any sample} appreciable amounts of tremolite (5-lOSc) were found in Samples G and K, lesser amounts In Samples I and L and traces In Samples B, Df E and F. Part of the tremolite would have to be called "fibrous" In Samples G, I, K and L; in the other four Bamples It was all equant. It was a pleasure to see you again yesterday and to meet your colleagues. If you have any questions about these results, please contact Ian Stewart or me.
