Executive Director Texas Air Control Board 6330 Highway 290 East Austin, Texas 78723 Dear Mr. Stewart: The Celanese Chemical Company, Inc., plant at Bishop plans to reclaim about 650 linear feet of steel pipe ranging in size from 10" to 24" in diameter and one vessel 5` O.D. by 13' H. This reclamation work will start August 28, 1981. The pipe and vessel are insulated with friable asbestos insulation, so insulation will be removed as the first step, and landfilled in the designated asbestos landfill located on the plant site. All precautions outlined in 40 CFR 61.20-61.25 will be observed. This letter will serve as a notification of this work, as required by 40 CFR 61.22 (d) (2).
