Casey APR 8 ASBESTOS COVERED THERMOCOUPLE LEAD WIRES Asbestos covered thermocouple lead vires are presently stored in the Instrument Shop and issued for jobs requiring high temperature protection for the lead wires. This asbestos covering consists of woven strands that are similar to the strands that are used to' make up welders blankets and asbestos gloves which have been approved for use without special handling precautions at this location. It is recommended that this material be added to the list of items which employ asbestos but do not appear to present a health hazard in normal usage.
