Customer has complained that the viscosity of Aroolor 125% from lot KB-603 is muoh lower than usual, the report Is that the viscosity on these drums ranged from iC toll Gardner-Holflt whereas It should aotually be a viscosity of 2. They received drums from some other lot* though we do not Know the number of It, that were satisfactory. A sample of the complaint material was sent to us but when the can was received. It was found that the oontents had been completely lost beoause the container was not properly olosed. We are to get another sample, we are told, and will forward It to you when it is received.
Shipment to the customer was made from the Cleveland warehouse and since the three complaint drums have been returned to the warehouse, the sample that we are getting was taken at that point. We do not have Information as to when the shipment was made to the customer although as you will note the oomplalnt lot la one produced this year.
Please Investigate and report as to cause of oomplalnt condi tion and any corrective measures that are necessary.
(This Is the first complaint from this customer this year).
