Spindle adaptors will be designed as schedule permits. Axle Dyno "D" - G.E. motors have been received; basic fixturing is approximately 70% complete. Slight delays being encountered with Cutler Hammer drive due to Division closing and relocation. Roto-stroker II - Machine being rebuilt for servo control system. Proving Grounds - Five vehicle demostration/presentations/tours were given during April, the major efforts performed in support of Axle & Broke requests were as follows: o Output shaft testing. RABA trailer axle brake performance testing. Electric shift unit vehicle tests. CTO data acquisition. RABA trailer axle seam crack investigation. Scheduled track repairs are being accomplished as crews axe available. Dust control products have been applied to all gravel roads. Divisional Expansion Project - The office portion of expansion project has been made available for occupancy. Those items remaining to be completed will be accomplished on "as necessary" basis. The lab portion is proceeding at an acceptable rate. At this time there dosen't appear to be any manpower or equipment hold-ups. PERSONNEL The following people joined the Engineering Department during April: Tom Furdek - Senior Product Engineer Jeff McKenna - CADD Operator Richard Wood - Technician Russ Golemba, CADD Operator, has left the company.
