BCSE Keynote Speaker Invitation to Administrator Pruitt 1')r 17 F * ent Date.pdf
2017 BCSE Members.pdf
Good morning Mandy and Ryan.
Per the notes below, the Business Council for Sustainable Energy will be holding its 25th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC on Thursday, October 5 and we would like to invite one or both of you to attend and share your perspectives on critical issues to the Environmental Protection Agency and to explore opportunities for the Council's broad-based business coalition to share its expertise and to serve as a resource to you and your colleagues.
We have sent in a formal request for the Administrator to address the BCSE, but given his extremely busy schedule and your roles as senior advisors and leads on key policy issues of interest to Council members such as the RFS and Clean Air Act implementation, we wanted to extend the invitation to you both directly. We wish to be sure that the Council has the opportunity to engage with the Agency at this important meeting for the organization.
We would welcome your participation for approximately 45 minutes with 15 minutes of remarks and the remaining time available for questions and discussion. BCSE can accommodate your schedule on that date, but suggested time blocks are 9:30 am or during lunch between noon and 1:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the Capitol Visitors Center, Room 209-08 from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
As background, the Business Council for Sustainable Energy is a coalition of companies and trade associations from the energy efficiency, natural gas and renewable energy sectors, and also includes independent electric power producers, investor-owned utilities, public power, manufacturers, commercial end-users, project developers and service providers for energy and environmental markets.
Established in 1992, the Council has engaged consistently with EPA on a broad range of Clean Air Act issues and seeks to continue that constructive engagement under Administrator Pruitt's

leadership. Please find enclosed the Council's membership list as well as information on the Sustainable Energy in America Factbook, 2017 edition that was released earlier this year. BCSE staff will be in touch with your office this week to answer any questions or provide additional information to assist you. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me at (202) 494-5133 or by email at ljacobson@bcse.org.
We very much look forward to working with you and hope that you can join the BCSE at its membership meeting on October 5.
Sincerely,
Lisa Jacobson, President Business Council for Sustainable Energy
