Deane has led the trade organization for private regulated utilities and operating companies since June 2009. "Michael's leadership over the past eight years has strengthened the association and established NAWC as a trusted and well-respected organization in our work with state regulators, federal and Congressional officials, and our colleagues in the water sector to bring efficient, sustainable solutions to the nation's water infrastructure investment and management challenges," said Christopher Franklin, President and CEO of Aqua America and president of NAWC's Board of Directors.
